The Spring Break Fishing Camp at the Carlsbad Lagoon gives campers a fun, hands-on introduction to everything they need to become confident anglers. Throughout the week, they’ll learn how to fish, tie essential knots and rigs, and use different baits and lures while practicing from kayaks, boats, and land. Campers will also learn how to target specific species and understand their habitats and behavior. By the end of camp, they’ll have the skills and experience needed to fish successfully on their own.
Important Notes:
- Please bring your own fishing rod and bait, or you may purchase them while booking.
- Pack a change of clothes in case you get wet.
- Bring a towel.
- Bring sunscreen.
- Bring sun protection, such as a hat.
- Bring a packed lunch for the day.
